Karen, Tom and family. So wish I could be there for the funeral, but Marion is in the hospital at Madison recovering from a total hip replacement. I have so many memories with your Mom...she taught me in Suday School at Calvary Baptist, She played the organ for our wedding, we had many good talks when I cleaned her house for her....and the list goes on and on. I also have a special place in my heart for all the fun times we had together in youth group and bike rides, dairy queen and just hanging out together.
Will be thinking of you all today and praying for you.
Bev and Marion

Dear Lois,
Just read of your passing and reunion with Jesus and Your Beloved. I was just asking about you on FB the other day! Wow, how vivid are some of the memories of our times together that come racing back to me. How you listened to me while I searched for life's answers, our road trip to Wisconsin to attend a retreat, being your Secret Pal and trying to sneak the apron I made you into your car for you to take to your daughter's at Christmas and your car lighting up and scaring me lol. I wonder if you still have the white lace hanky :). And a very special moment I recall just as we said goodby to our little 6 year old Justin for the last time this side of Heaven, you began to play Jesus Loves Me on the organ. How precious.....For all the laughs and tears and memories, I thank you. Truly. Til we meet again....Genny

Dear Karen, Tom and families,
I know you are going to miss your Mom, Grandma, tremendously. What a godly legacy she leaves behind on this earth. But what a glorious homecoming in heaven for her!
I have so many wonderful memories of Lois. She was my SS teacher at Calvary (we even had some SS lessons in the church bus) ! She loved God's Word and that love for Scriptures was caught by me from her and so many others at Calvary Church. And, of course, she always encouraged me to keep taking organ lessons and was generous to let me play the organ when I wanted to at church.
I will be praying for you as you celebrate her life in a few days at the service there in Sterling. I would love to be there--but live too far away.
Blessings to all of you!
Sherry and Del

Karen, I loved your mother even though I met her just a few times. A great and faithful lady. I know she must be in God's loving arms right now. Blessings to you, Denny, and family.
