Tim, Tim Burks, Mule or whichever Moniker you used while in the presence of, or talking about Timothy R. Burks, we all knew the same man. Tim lived his life how and when he wanted, and because of that I don’t think there was a single person he didn’t invoke an array of emotions ranging from love to hate. On the same token, people knew that much of the time he was purposeful in his actions and wanted to JUST to get a rise out of you. Tim was quick-witted & funny, he could read people & Tim knew what buttons to push, for the reaction HE wanted (positive and negative) and he was DAMN GOOD AT IT! Even with that said, people knew Tim cared and deep down wanted the best for everyone. What I am going to miss most is when I was on the receiving end of his phone calls et I would hear “Chris……………Tim Burks Here”….as if clarification was needed :).(I KNOW YOU ARE ALL SMILING BECAUSE YOU HAVE BEEN ON THE RECEIVING END OF THIS CALL). Soooo… to my bib-overall wearing, semi driving, bar-room (who am I kidding, any room) brawling, beer and liquor drinking, unapologetic (for the most part), button pushing, fridge raiding, tough as nails yet big hearted “redneck” Uncle, I love you more than I EVER expressed and I hope you are at peace now.
