My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. My Mom (Lola Jean Behrens) was an election judge with Ann for Hopkins Township for many years. Mom always enjoyed visiting with Ann on election day and I believe they both retired from their positions about the same time. They're reunited again,as Mom was called to her heavenly home on March 28th. With deepest sympathy, Dianne Behrens & Family

To Ann's dear family,
I mostly know of Ann through the stories Jane has shared about the sister with whom she shared a bed for 18 years and the "Bartel kids" growing up together on the farm. She has brought each of her siblings to life in her tales of adventure, caring, hardship, and love. That fierce determination to care for Jude with his special needs is another chapter in her story that illuminates Ann's devotion to her family and her world. I know her God has welcomed her into an everlasting home full of compassion and joy.
Blessings be with all of you,
Joy Hubbell

I knew Ann many years ago. She was a beautiful woman and I admired her greatly. My sincere condolences to Frank and the 'boys'. A lovely lady. DeqeQ

Dear Kevin and Rachel,
Obviously I never had the privilege to meet your mother and grandmother and only got to learn about her from her obituary. To say the very least it was a very interesting life story and it gives me further perspective on the two of you.
She seemed like a very interesting lady and it would've been a privilege to meet her and speak to her about her life in Sterling through the years.
Although her passing will be difficult, hopefully you will find comfort in the memories that you will share forever.

Please accept our sincere condolences. We live in Kane's Addition and got to know Frank & Ann through it as well as through church. She was a very friendly and likable person. We are very sorry for your loss.
