I will always remember Sister Greer's lilting soprano voice, always glorifying God with her music. Elva was a woman of prayer, also, faithfully interceding for others boldly and often. In fact, she even prayed out loud while driving, something I witnessed while riding with her as a young girl (I kept looking over to make sure she kept her eyes open!). Elva, I thank God for you, and I look forward to seeing you singing with the angels...and with Dad and Mom, too. To God be the glory!

Dear Greer family!!!
She loved her God and she loved her family!!!
I met Miss Elva over 20yrs ago at Coventry Village when she would come in daily to help take care of another sweet lady, Mrs. B was kind enough to let us talk Elva into a weekly Bible Study for the residents. How blessed were we!!! Her weekly services were well attended and as she played I heard people sing out loud that rarely whispered on other occasions. Residents especially enjoyed the days she would bring Dawn and/or Starr.
I know my spiritual life is mainly what it is because of her!!!!! She would share, instruct and invite all the time and never became cross when I would decline. She taught me so much. (Corrie Ten boom) good old gospel songs, I loved her hugs, her smile, her infectious spirit and her ability to LOVE without question. I am sad for myself that I lost contact. Just one more hug, one more blessing!
SHE LIVED her faith!!! I cannot tell you how sorry I was to hear of her passing. The last time I remember seeing her was around 2011 I tried to convince her to move into my supportive living facility or at least come do a regular Bible Study. I do remember hugs and tears and more hugs at Bucks visitation. I could go on and on but my tears won't allow me too. I know God welcomed her with a band of angels singing~THIS IS MY STORY THIS IS MY SONG PRAISING MY SAVIOR ALL THE DAY LONG. peace and blessings to you all.
