Obituary of Rutilia Veliz

Rutilia Veliz, 76 of Sterling died August 6, 2018 at her home surrounded by family.  

  Rutilia was born June 4, 1942 in Durango Mexico the daughter of Jose and Maria (Ortega) Oropeza.  She married Macario Veliz in 1972. He preceded her in death in 1986.

  Survivors include one daughter Alicia Ortega of Sterling; five grandchildren Oscar Cabrera of Washington, Mirna Cabrera of Sterling, Laura Moreno of Sterling, and Ricardo Moreno of Sterling.

  Funeral service is noon on Saturday August 11, 2018 at Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation in Sterling. Visitation will be from 10AM-12PM prior to the funeral. Cremation rites will be accorded after the funeral.
