Our deepest sympathy for your loss. Many of America’s hero’s are leaving us every day. These were the men who fought and died on Omaha Beach, Arden’s Forest, Midway, and the South Pacific. Fighting for our freedom and way of life. They were separated from their family and friends, spent holidays in foxholes or embattlements aboard ships or in a raft floating at sea hoping they would be found, we can never repay the enormous debt we owe these Hero’s, but we can honor them and their memory. Even though Kathy and I never met Berdette Burch, we are honored to know his son Paul and his family and our new Son-in-law Rust Burch, we salute him and a great American family he and his wife created.

So sorry for your loss. Heaven got a great guy.
I am Doris Swanson's companion at Parkway Center in Sterling.
Doris's room was next to Burdette. Burdette would always say hello to her as he passed by her room.
I would say Burdette, how are you today. He would answer another day I woke up :-)
