We just learned of Dick's death. Dave and I send our deepest condolences. We are Val Eddy's daughter and son-in-law. Dick was such a sweetheart and we surely miss him and Leona. We spent a lot of time with them in Rockford through Val. We had called him a few times after Leona died to check on him. He was always so nice to us and so pleasant to be around. We enjoyed many bands with him. It is so ironic that Val once showed Leona a picture of his mother in Ferentino, Italy as a child and said that he didn't know who the other little girl standing with our Nona was in the picture and Leona said it was her mother! What a small, small world. Condolences to Julie and Brad and the family. RIP.
