Tom and Terry: What a great life your mom lived! We have such special memories of family holidays and meals with her and my dad Keith. Although in the later years these times were few and far between because of our living in Ohio, memories are the special ribbons that put the finishing touches on the gift of family. Misako was, and still is, family. It is always painful to lose our parents, but the pain can be eased by understanding that, although not here, she lives; she lives in the joy of the Lord. What a comfort that can be when we stop and think about the truth of that statement. Please know that Janet and I have been praying for your strength in the pain of the loss. Dear Terry and Tom, I was so saddened to hear of your mother's death. She was such a large part of my family's life; always there for our family celebrations with a smile, a story, and a hug. She was truly the kindest woman I have ever known in my life and her presence would light up the room. I feel so blessed that she was a part of my family and her kindness and gentle spirit will stay with me always. With her passing, the world has lost some of it's luster, but heaven must be absolutely glowing. I so wish I could see you both again at her services and pay my respects, but unfortunately I will be at my daughter's in Kansas City for Thanksgiving.
