I am so sad to hear of Doris's passing but I also REJOICE at the wonderful life she lived. I came to know Doris & Jim when they moved to Coventry many years ago. What devotion to each other. She was a LOYAL volunteer for me, sitting by my side at Manicures & sharing all the fun topics of the day/week/year. I was so proud to spend time with her. I enjoyed taking her to watch my daughters in their school programs & sporting events. I cannot even express what this wonderful woman meant to me. Sadly when I left Coventry I did not stay in contact with her like I should have. I know how much she adored you Carol, Tom & grandchildren..you were her PRIDE. I loved hearing about her trips out east & to Chicago. The one thing we could never agree on was the Cubs/WhiteSox...we had good times watching the crosstown rivals & bantering. People come into our lives for a reason, a season or a lifetime..she made my mothering years, my trials, & my happiness so much more special. She has imprinted herself on my heart. Please know I wish I could be with you to celebrate her life but sadly cannot make it..I will be thinking of you all & remembering this very very special lady..keep her spirit ALIVE! God Bless you all. Rae Ann Higley
