I met Ada at Sterling Pavilion. I own a therapy dog and we visited her every week. I will never forget her crying one day and my dog helped cheer her up and she stopped crying. Actually I wrote a short story about her that was published in the Delta Society Pet Partners magazine. It was about how my dog cheered up someone that day. It is sad to know that this week when I go to the nursing home she won't be there. It is always hard on me and my dog when we lose a patient we visited for so long. Ada was one person who was never scared of my German Shepherds that visit the home. She was a wonderful lady who we will miss. Sorry for your loss. Sincerely, Kari and Taya
We are wishing the family the best in this difficult time. I got to know Ada in her later years, but she was always a very nice and classy lady in all my interaction with her. I enjoyed our brief visits when she was still at home and I would deliver the farm rent payment. It was fun to listen to some of the family history about Walter and the farm that I was not aware of. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
